Twenty years of GI, liver and transplant surgery

Dr Manoj Gupta is a gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary and liver transplant surgeon practising in Noida and Delhi NCR for over two decades. He completed his MBBS at King George's Medical University, Lucknow, MS in General Surgery at S.N. Medical College, Agra, and his DNB in Surgical Gastroenterology at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi — one of India's highest-volume GI surgery centres. He then trained in liver transplantation at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital and completed the advanced liver surgery and transplant fellowship at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.

Before joining Yatharth Super Speciality Hospital as Senior Director, he was Senior Consultant and Head of Liver Transplant & GI Surgery at PSRI Hospital, Delhi, and Consultant at Jaypee Hospital, Noida. He has been part of more than 500 liver transplants and has helped establish liver transplant programmes at several centres in India and abroad. Patients travel to him from across Delhi NCR, Western Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, and from Central Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
